Sales Training in Manchester
Manchester is a world class city - has been for well over a century now. It developed strong links to the USA through the port of Liverpool and then directly thanks to the Manchester Ship Canal. They grew the cotton in the Southern States and shipped it over to the cotton mills - all over Lancashire, but mainly based in Manchester at the end of the Ship Canal. Then the actual cotton as clothes, bedding etc. was shipped back out to the world or sent down the train tracks to London and the rest of the UK. A big operation that put a lot of money and work into the North West of England - made it a World Class city and put it on the map. What has this got to do with Sales Training?

Why did it all happen in Manchester and not some other part of the world? Some say because it is humid here so the threads didn't break - well, yeah - but there are lots of other damp places in the world so there is more to it than that! Since all this is human activity we should look at the humans rather than the climate - we can do something about human activity more easily than change the climate. My take on the difference is the attitude and intention of a number of people - entrepreneurs. They wanted Change, Improvement and they were Willing to Learn and change themselves. Magical ingredients that are vital - or nothing is going to change.
So what about your business - what about You. Are you completely happy with the size of your business, your income, are you happy for everything to stay exactly as it is? Well if so then of course I have nothing to offer - you already have it all. If however you want to improve things, change your income and expand your business then the first thing that has to happen is you are going to have to change - it really is a corollary. Things don't change if they stay the same. You are the one who makes it happen. If you think it is everyone else who needs to change then you need to send them all on a training course - but that may not be practical. Certainly it would be more expensive!
What happened one hundred and fifty years ago in Manchester is some people changed their minds. They started looking and learning and were willing to see what was there and not just see what they already knew. The Manchester Ship canal, cotton trade and railways came AFTER that.
What my Sales Training or Management Training does, essentially, is get people to change their mind - for the better of course. To see they can do more and be more effective, they can get more business - and it's fun. People need to feel they are moving forward - next year just has to be better than the last year. Newer car, faster, bigger etc. We see this all around us - but it starts with you. Your life began with training (school) and much of that training may have been irrelevant - but now that you know what you want...
