Sales Training Course Manchester

This was a good course. I felt it covered all angles and was geared for all levels as well. We came as a team of four which included some very new people as well some long in the tooth and perhaps a little jaded sales people who can be more interested in the quality of the refreshments than the material in the course! Luckily and unusually for many of the these things this didn't last long and we all started geting into it as it was interesting and we soon realised there was useful data and skills to be had here.

Some really thought they knew it all already. They had a certain level of success and a ready answer for 'why' with any failures they experienced. It's amazing how common this is - rather than look or concieve of the idea that there could be something to learn, just develop a standard answer for why the sale got away. The recession, the guy was just a - well, let's say "bad person", I'll let you fill in the blanks. The product or service is not that good (so why are you selling it?). It's amazing how many pat answers there were for why the sale just didn't happen that don't involve the sales person doing anything different to what they always do! So how are things going to change?

So step one is to at least conceive the idea that you could learn something useful, you may not already know all there is about selling and perhaps things can be better - however good or bad they are right now. Having accomplished that it was possible to learn things and discover that we weren't perfect beings! Things could be better and our sales board was under our control - not the gods or The Economy or anything else - just us!

The environment near Bolton in Lancashire was very pleasant - I find it easier to learn about sucess in sales in a place which itself is successful. Selling isn't an arduous job of constantly forcing people to do things they don't want to do - it's mostly a communication skill or presentation skill where you get somebody to understand what it is that you offer. This can be fun and is certainly more effective and a lot less stressful.

The key to any course on selling is the results after the course not the hype before it. I can say that this training really worked because it did - for the year following it we had a steady rise on our Sales Board despite The Recession and other companies in our market struggling - what better evidence can there be of a training course that works. I can recommend it for for any business that needs to get sales and increase them.
